cori gammon.tickled pink

well, rather appropriate that i should be showing off a fab mini called 'tickled pink', because quite frankly, i am! cori gammon at the lilypad accepted me onto her creative team last week, so i have been excitedly scrapping with her gorgeous, whimsical goodies. tickled pink was so easy to scrap with- fun prints and fab elements. just yum.
i was inspired by the fun of this kit to make this page- featuring a photo where my hubby totally photobombed me. i also used a template from amy martin and journal prompt from Log Your Memory.

vanilla bees.photography challenge

i am so excited! i entered last weeks photography contest at vanilla bees, focused on bokeh. i didn't know what that was, so i read up a bit. i entered a pic of my beautiful bubba with some light coming through a wicker basket lid in the background (you can see it in my flickr pic stream). and it was chosen as the winner. crazy happy. and if you haven't checked out vanilla bees yet, you should. their photography, cooking, scrapping and photo processing contests rock.

one little bird.new home, boardwalk

well the fabulous peppermint (one little bird) has packed up her bongos and moved to a new store. surely you heard the buzz, did you guess which store is her new home? it's oscraps! so much gorgeous stuff in one store, you won't know what to do with yourself! now, here is a new mini-ish kit just fresh in the oscraps store, it's a little retro and a lot bright and sunny. and it forms part of the 25 days of templates: summer edition class with Tiffany Tillman.
i got to play with a couple of sample templates from the class, and they are quality.

wow, the digidare this week took me on a little journey, thanks to amanda. i also delved into my stash of taylormade designs- isn't it so fun to rediscover favourite stuff that id just timeless? my layout for the dare is called
{torn}
I used a bunch of stuff from taylormade- heartstrings, mere modesty, clearly stuck, unscripted- the good life. and i used creashens' torn bits 1 to do the torn edges. hope to see you join in!

hazel olive designs.sew lovely

did you know i lurve to sew? i had forgotten too for a while, it's been so long since i've done any stitching. but this kit from hazel olive designs reminded me! it's full of funky vintage sewing bits and pieces, and the papers are fabulous.

one little bird.for the birds

peppermint (one little bird) has gone all sweet 'n' pretty here for us, and made this totally gorgeous kit. i am in love with the slightly retro, pastelish papers. and beige is my favourite.
